Blades Technician

Job Description

Join our team to focus on blade and main component repairs up tower. Gain hands-on experience in blade maintenance and repair processes within the wind energy sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor blade maintenance processes and inspect blades for operational status.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including reporting on hours, conditions, and operations.
  • Follow safety rules and quality procedures for blade maintenance, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and regulatory standards.
  • Perform on-site repairs with technical expertise and adherence to internal procedures.

Qualifications:

  • BTEC Higher National Diploma or BTS/DUT in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. BZEE certification is a plus.
  • Degree or experience as a composite material technician or wind turbine maintenance technician.
  • Proficiency in technical English and familiarity with Office tools.

Competencies:

  • Experience with composite materials and wind turbines (Vestas or other brands).
  • Comfort working in confined spaces and at heights over 100 meters.
  • Ability to work remotely in a turbine with limited supervision and as part of a team.
