Project Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager. Location: Princeton, NJ, US, 08540. The Project Manager will provide integrated engineering support for land development projects, including site assessments, field testing, construction monitoring, data compilation, report preparation, and client meetings. This role includes working on diverse projects, solving challenges, and contributing to environmental restoration and property re-use.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute field investigations, including field tests, data collection, and routine calculations.
  • Monitor construction projects to ensure contractor compliance with specifications.
  • Collect various environmental samples (soil, air, water).
  • Operate and maintain groundwater and soil vapor treatment systems.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance for permits related to site investigations and remediation.
  • Review environmental, geological, and historical records to support due diligence efforts.
  • Prepare and modify engineering documents, such as reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Manage tasks within specific budgets and schedules.
  • Collaborate with clients and subcontractors, maintaining professional interactions.
  • Supervise or coordinate staff engineers, interns, and other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental, Site/Civil Engineering, or Geology.
  • 7+ years of experience in contaminated sites investigation, feasibility studies, and system design.
  • Valid Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, including CERCLA and RCRA.
  • Proficiency in Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments.
  • Experience in groundwater treatment system design and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits; valid driver’s license.
