Project Engineer (Entry Level)

Job Description

Job Title: Project Engineer (1-2 years experience). Location: Celbridge, Co. Kildare, Ireland. A training and development plan will be designed for you. The graduate role will aim to provide the graduate engineer training in our processes and products to allow the engineer to progress to the project engineer role. This will include internal/external training as required for the role.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Engineering Drawings: Produce accurate and readable engineering drawings (AutoCad type) in accordance with company Procedures and Work Instructions. This includes Process and Instrumentation Drawings, Plant Room Layout Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings for engineered skids, and Design Documents/Turnover Packs.  
  • Documentation Management: Generate schedules for the procured Equipment, Valves, and instruments for each project. Assist the service department on the generation of Spares and consumables schedules. Collate all Water Treatment System O&M Documentation and Certification in presentable files and prepare necessary copies for the client. Ensure traceability of all Water Treatment System Documentation and Certification provided by suppliers and contractors. Prepare a “hand-over” pack for the Service Department system commissioning engineer.  
  • Validation Documentation: Produce validation documentation as directed which tests the system supplied, including Installation Qualification protocols and Commissioning Sheets. Ensure that all validation documentation is completed by Veolia Water Technologies and the Client.  
  • Project Engineer Support: As a Project Engineer, you will provide engineering support. Responsibilities include discussing the enquiry with the Engineering Manager or Client, preparing and submitting Design and Commercial Proposals, and monitoring contract progress. Produce a contract programme and other administrative documents for each contract.
